Tree Steward volunteers plant a tree togetherLas Cruces Tree Stewards is now recruiting for the 2019 class of Tree Stewards. The class is limited to the first 20 applicants so don't wait to apply!

Training

Training consists of 32 hours of training on Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to noon, October 2 to November 20. Classes are taught by experienced community professionals. Please see the Tree Steward Training Schedule for more details.

Commitments

In exchange for the training, volunteers are asked to commit 40 hours of volunteer service over the next twelve months planting trees in public spaces or aiding in educational efforts about trees.
