2023-2024 After School Program
The City of Las Cruces After School Program is offering a lottery registration for the 2023-2024 school year for the following school sites, Alameda, Cesar Chavez, Fairacres, Highland, Monte Vista, Sonoma, and Sunrise elementary schools.
Registration for the After School Program is determined by lottery selection at sites due to capacity limits.
Participants must attend the school where the program is being offered.

- Parks & Recreation Department administrative office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
- Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave., 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
- Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave., 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
- Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Program hours are 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and will follow the Las Cruces Public School’s calendar, July 20, 2023 - June 30, 2024.
Program fees will be determined according to the Parks & Recreation Fees & Charges Policy. Scholarships are available to families with certain economic restrictions who are eligible to receive financial assistance through the department’s Youth Scholarship Fund. The intent of the scholarship fund is to offer assistance to youth wanting to participate in recreational opportunities who may not otherwise have the means. Scholarship assistance is limited to existing funds on a first-come, first-served basis and is available only to residents of Las Cruces.
