Thomas Branigan Memorial Library offers Books by Mail service to residents living in outlying areas and to patrons who are homebound. Users must be registered with Books by Mail to receive this service.

It is the student’s responsibility to understand the Library’s Proctoring Guidelines and ensure that all proctoring requirements can be met. Arrangements must be made with the Reference Department by calling 575-528-4005 at least 48 hours in advance. Students must complete a Proctoring Request Form and return it to the Reference Desk for each exam to be proctored.


If the library does not own a book or you need a specific article from a magazine or journal the library does not own, you can request the items from Interlibrary Loan. Patrons are limited to five(5) requests per day with a total of 10 active requests at a time. Please click on the links below to fill out a request. If you have questions about Interlibrary Loan, please contact the Reference desk at 575-528-4005.  

Interlibrary Loan requests are now made through the Online Catalog. Users must sign into their accounts, then select Send a Request.
