Senior Nutrition
Meal Services
The City of Las Cruces Senior Nutrition Program offers Congregate and Home Delivered Meals. We provide wholesome mid-day meals to seniors 60 years of age and older and their spouses for a suggested donation of $2.50. Those age 59 years and below are able to eat as a guest for the price of $7.50.
Our Mission is to provide our guests with nutritious, appetizing meals at our Congregate Meal locations or to deliver the same meal to them through the Home Delivered Meal program.
Nutrition
All meals meet federal and state guidelines which are reviewed and approved by a Registered Dietitian to ensure they provide the minimum 1/3rd of the daily nutrients and calories as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture.
Meals are prepared with no sodium, fat, or sugar added to them. Check out this month’s menu!
Congregate meals are served at five locations:
- Benavidez Center
- Eastside Center
- Frank O’Brien Papen Center
- Munson Center
- Sage Café
Meals are served from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Monday-Friday.

- Lacking a family support system
- Living inside the city limits
- Unable to obtain and prepare a nutritious meal
