The Parks & Recreation Department’s 2023 Music in the Park Series begins at 6 p.m. May 28 at Plaza de Las Cruces, 100 N. Main St., with the Mayor’s Jazz Fest.
The Music in the Park Series will begin at 7 p.m., June 4 through Aug. 27. Sunday performances in June and July will be at Young Park, 1905 E. Nevada Ave., and in August at Apodaca Park, 801 E. Madrid Ave.
The schedule, times, and locations are subject to change.
The Music in the Park Series highlights the great talent and diversity of Las Cruces, southern New Mexico, and New Mexico music. Each year more than 70 percent of the scheduled musicians are from the Las Cruces area.
The 2023 Music in the Park Series schedule will be posted in March 2023.
City's Mother's Day Concert
The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will host a Mother’s Day Concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Plaza de Las Cruces, 100 N. Main St.
Join us in celebrating all the great mothers in our community with live music and dancing! Bring your beautiful mom, bring the family, and bring your chairs. Food trucks will be at the Plaza.
This free community concert is the start of the City’s live music season which continues with the Mayor’s Jazz Fest on May 28, 2023 kicking off the Parks & Recreation Department’s Music in the Park Series. The popular Music in the Park Series will feature performances by local, regional, and national acts every Sunday beginning Memorial Day weekend and continuing through August. Artists and locations will be announced soon.
