The next “Listen to Your Art” lecture, with the Las Cruces Museum of Art, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 on Zoom.

Judy Pekelsma is a visionary artist who focuses on sharing experience and technical skills via studio instruction. Recently retired, Mrs. Pekelsma taught Art Appreciation and Art History for more than 20 years at Eastern New Mexico University. She currently owns a studio and gallery in Carrizozo where she teaches classes in pottery and painting while maintaining her own studio practice.
