[ARCHIVED] City of Las Cruces HOME-ARP Community Survey

Orange Ribbon City Hall

The City of Las Cruces is conducting a HOME-American Rescue Plan Allocation Plan to identify how the funding should be spent to help people with affordable housing, for people at risk of being homeless, and for people currently experiencing homelessness in Las Cruces.

The City of Las Cruces needs community input to identify housing and homeless service needs in neighborhoods and throughout the city.

The community survey is available directly online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LasCrucesHOMEARPCommunitySurvey. It also can be accessed through the City’s website, at https://www.las-cruces.org/2227/Discover-Housing-and-Community-Resources.

What does the City want to know?

  • What do residents consider to be the most critical housing needs in their neighborhood and for the City overall?
  • What can the City do to improve housing opportunities and services for people experiencing or at risk of becoming homeless?

The draft HOME-ARP Plan will be available for public review in November 2022. At least two public hearings will be conducted so the public can comment on the draft plan. The dates of public hearings will be announced soon.
