[ARCHIVED] 2023 Youth Indoor Soccer Individual Participant Registration

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer the following individual registrations for the upcoming Winter 2023 Youth Indoor Soccer League.
 
 There will be three age divisions offered to all genders between the ages of 4 to 10. Proof of age, or a current *Parks & Recreation Activity ID Card will be required to register.
 
 Registration fee for new participants is $45 per individual, with a jersey, or $35 for returning players, no jersey. League play begins the week of Jan. 7, 2023.
 
 Space is limited in all divisions, and registration is first come, first served.
 
Individual Online Registration:
 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022

Must have a current *Parks & Recreation (P&R) Activity ID card on file to register online.
 
Individual (In-Person) Registration:
 9 a.m. to noon, or until full
 Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022
 Meerscheidt Recreation Center
 1600 E. Hadley Ave.
Current P&R Activity ID card or birth certificate is REQUIRED to register.

  • Formation of teams is under the discretion of Meerscheidt staff.
  • Participants will be required to play in their respective age division and will not be allowed to “play up” a division. 
  • Requesting placement onto specific teams will not be allowed. Siblings in the same household may be placed on the same team ONLY if they qualify for the same age division and sibling notification is recorded by Meerscheidt staff during registration.
  • Switching teams will not be allowed once teams have been formed and assigned to coaches.

*Parks & Recreation Activity ID Card: To obtain a card, a parent or guardian and child, must appear in person at Meerscheidt Recreation Center to fill out the permission form, provide proof of age (a birth certificate), and have the child’s photo taken. Activity ID Cards can be obtained from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Cards will not be issued on registration dates.
 
 Parks & Recreation Department Youth Sports strive to guide young athletes through the discovery of sports and activities, providing safe and stimulating activities focused on process and participation rather than results, gaining awareness and appreciation for the important concepts of physical fitness, teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship.
