Do you want to help support teachers in the important and difficult work they do? Just in time for Teacher’s Appreciation Week (May 5-11), you are invited to come and listen as Betsy Geery from the Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation explains some of the challenges facing educators today, how the Foundation is addressing some of these needs, and suggests ways that we can all get involved. The presentation takes place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. It does in fact, take a village to raise a child. And a vital, encouraging city can do an even better job!
