The Museum of Nature & Science presents “Super Scientists,” drop-in activities on listed Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Entry to the museum and program are free, and no registration is required. Drop-in activities are appropriate for all ages.
September 14: Solar Scopes – Meet outside the Main Street entrance to learn about our closest star, the Sun! Safely view the Sun with Sunspotter Solar Viewers.
September 28: Gliders – Build a simple glider or complex paper airplane and learn about lift, drag, and weight with engineless flight.
The Museum of Nature & Science is located at 411 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The museum is accessible from RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1 Stop 36.
