The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will offer individual registration for the upcoming Spring Youth Cheer Program beginning Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.
This FUNdamental recreational program focuses on self-esteem, social skills, positive peer relationships, jumps, stunts, cheers, with an opportunity to cheer at live youth basketball games and an end-of-season program. The program is available to all genders, ages 5 to 10.
Instruction will be offered twice a week beginning the week of March 27, 2023. Spots are limited and are on a first come, first served basis.
Youth Cheer Registration:
Noon to 8 p.m.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 27 (until full)

1600 E. Hadley Ave.
$45 per individual
$35 for returning participants.
- At time of registration, parents/guardians will be required to fill out an annual participant waiver, permission forms, and provide proof of child’s age (a birth certificate).
- Participants must be a minimum of 5 years old by March 27, 2023, to participate.
- The fee is due at registration. It includes a cheer jersey and poms. The fee is $35 for returning participants who do not need a jersey.
