The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office, in cooperation with Mountain States Construction, Inc., will be continuing roadway rehabilitation of U.S. Highway 70, from milepost 143 – the interchange at Interstate 10 and U.S. 70 – to milepost 161, in Organ.
Drivers can expect various daytime lane closures on the frontage road and intersections on all eastbound and westbound lanes from NASA Road to Del Ray Boulevard. Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, crews will be moving to the Brahman Road intersection.
During milling and paving operations, lanes will be closed daily for each lane of travel, traffic can travel to the next intersection to turn around. Mountain States Construction, Inc., the contractor for project, will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
