Sixth Street will be closed to through traffic, between Picacho Avenue and Madero Avenue, from Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, until 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, as part of the Water Main Rehabilitation Alley North of Picacho Project.
Affected residents are urged to follow the detour signs. Speeding fines will be double in the construction zone and motorists should obey all posted signs.
RoadRUNNER Transit routes will not be affected. The project is in City Council District 4.
The City has verified no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area at this time.
