[ARCHIVED] Presidents Day Closures

In observance of Presidents Day, most City of Las Cruces offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, 2023. However, all emergency services, including police and fire will operate as usual.
 
City offices and facilities closed on Presidents Day include: 

  • A Fielder Memorial Safe Haven.
  • City Hall.
  • East Mesa Recreation Center.
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center.
  • Frenger Pool.
  • Juvenile Citation Program.
  • All libraries.
  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center.
  • All museums.
  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center.
  • Rio Grande Theatre.
  • All Senior Programs facilities and services.
  • South Central Solid Waste Authority offices.
  • Visit Las Cruces.

Operating, or open, with regular hours: 

  • RoadRUNNER Transit, and Dial-A-Ride, will operate its regular service schedule, from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. All transit facilities will be open.
  • Foothills Landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Solid waste collection will occur for residential customers who are scheduled for that service on Monday, Feb. 20.

South Central Solid Waste Transfer Station, 2865 W. Amador Ave., will be open from 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
