[ARCHIVED] Police Seek Missing Las Cruces Girl

The Las Cruces Police Department asks for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old Las Cruces girl.
 
Ysabella Montoya was last seen by family members about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at her home. Montoya is 5-feet, 1-inch tall, weighs about 110 pounds, and has dark brown hair and green eyes. She also has a scar above her left eye.
 
Montoya was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and black sweatpants. She left the family home with her dog.
 
According to a note she left, Montoya wrote she was headed to Mexico.
 
Anyone with information on Ysabella Montoya’s whereabouts is asked to call Las Cruces police at (575) 526-0795.
