[ARCHIVED] Las Cruces International Airport Wings & Wheels ‘Fest will be October 19

Las Cruces International Airport, 8990 Zia Boulevard, welcomes City residents and the public to the first annual Wings & Wheels ‘Fest, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 19, 2019.

The event is free to the public.

The Wings & Wheels ‘Fest will have many airplanes and helicopters on display with classic cars and hotrods. There will be dozens of exhibitors, family-friendly activities and food trucks!

The Wings & Wheels ‘Fest is a fundraiser for the Experimental Aircraft Association’s local Chapter-555 Youth Aviation Scholarship program, benefitting young people in the Mesilla Valley and surrounding area. Chapter 555, “the Triple Nickel,” is a 501-c3 nonprofit whose mission is to introduce young people to exciting aviation opportunities. The Chapter has given first flights to more than 3,700 young people in southern New Mexico.

The airport is only 10 minutes from downtown Las Cruces. Take Interstate 10 west to Exit 132 and turn right toward the yellow water tower.
