The City of Las Cruces Public Works Department/Engineering and Architecture will conduct a public input meeting regarding the Casa Linda Acres Reconstruction Project from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, in Room 2007 B and C at City Hall, 700 N. Main St.
The project will consist of reconstructing Calle de Encanto, Avenida Blanco, and a portion of Calle de Sol. Roadway improvements will include new pavement, the installation of new curbs and gutters, sidewalks, drive pads, ADA ramps, street lighting, and stormwater infrastructure.
Underground utility improvements will include the installation of new gas, water, and sewer lines. Mature trees within the parkways that have caused infrastructure issues in the past will be part of the design and discussion at the meeting.
