The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office, in cooperation with Mountain States Construction, Inc., the contractor for the project, will continue with roadway rehabilitation on U.S. Highway 70 from the Interstate 10 and U.S. 70 interchange to Organ.
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Bataan Memorial East and West and intersections on all eastbound and westbound lanes from NASA Road to Del Rey Boulevard.
Sunday, March 19, 2023, crews will continue nighttime roadwork at the Sonoma Ranch Boulevard intersection. Crews also will be crack sealing Bataan Memorial East, with one lane closed as needed.
During milling and paving operations lanes will be closed nightly for each lane of travel. Vehicles can travel to the next intersection to turn around.
The contractor’s hours of operation will be from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Drivers should expect delays and plan accordingly.
