[ARCHIVED] Road Maintenance – Main Street (U.S. Highway 70)

NMDOT Road Construction

Crews with New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District 1 office will begin bridge and roadway rehabilitation operations beginning Monday, Sept. 30, 2019. The project will take place on Main Street, U.S. Highway 70, from Elks Drive to Del Rey Boulevard. This work will also take place at on-ramps and off-ramps for the U.S. 70 and I-25 interchange.  The project is scheduled to be completed by February 2020. 

For the public’s convenience, the construction work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during the construction period. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes and to use caution when traveling through the construction zone. The construction will not affect operations of RoadRUNNER Transit routes.
