[ARCHIVED] “14+ Spelling Bee” at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library

Celebrate the tradition of the spelling bee with Thomas Branigan Memorial Library!

The Scripps National Spelling Bee will be held in late May, but the library’s will be on May 4 and is open to the first 50 entrants aged 14 or older. Participants do not have to stand and spell the words, instead they will write their answers on a sheet of paper. Complete spelling bee rules are available at the library.

Participants must pre-register for this event, and registration is underway through May 3 or until all slots are filled.

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library hours are Monday thru Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m. The library is located at 200 E. Picacho Avenue.

Save gas and avoid traffic! RoadRUNNER Transit can get you to the library. Branigan Library is located on Route #1, Stop #2, City Hall/Library.
