of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main Street.
Unearth fossil facts with hands-on activities and view real fossils from Las
Cruces and beyond. Entry to the museum and program are free, and no
registration is required.
Practice paleontology with hands-on activities
for all ages presented by the museum and the Bureau of Land Management - Las
Cruces Office. Learn about New Mexico’s ancient past from the Paleozoic
pelycosaurs to Cretaceous Tyrannosaurus rex.
National Fossil Day™ is an annual
celebration of the educational and scientific value of paleontology hosted by
the National Park Service and American Geosciences Institute.
