As part of a Crack Sealing Maintenance Project, there will be temporary lane closures on several city streets beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
The affected streets include:
- Ben Bolt Place: From the cul-de-sac to Mars Avenue. This work will be in City Council District 5.
- Valverde Loop: To and from Mars Avenue. This work will be in City Council District 5.
- Conocito Place: From Valverde Loop to the edge of the pavement. This work will be in City Council District 5.
- Bitter Creek: From the edge of the pavement to Calias Avenue. This work will be in City Council District 6.
The work is scheduled to take four working days to complete.
For the public’s convenience, crews will work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., leaving evenings free of construction activity. Any temporary lane closures will not go into effect until after the morning rush hour and will be removed before the afternoon rush hour.
Lane closures will not affect RoadRUNNER Transit routes.
Access to the surrounding residences and businesses will be maintained by leaving driveways accessible. Motorists who want to avoid any possible delays should seek an alternate route.
