The Las Cruces City Council will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019 for a regularly scheduled meeting at City Hall, 700 N. Main St. The meeting will be televised by CLC-TV, Comcast Cable channel 20. The meeting will be webcast on the link found here and will also be available on the City’s Facebook page.
Agenda items for Council discussion and consideration include:
Resolution No.20-045: A resolution to recommend the Novak Consulting Group of Cincinnati, Ohio for recruitment services for a City Manager. (Procurement No. 19-20-052).
Resolution No.20-047: A resolution adopting the Pioneer Women’s Park Conceptual Master Plan Report.
Council Bill No. 20-004; Ordinance No. 2896: An ordinance authorizing a real estate exchange agreement for 3.95 acres of land located at the northwest corner of Bataan Memorial Highway and Rinconada Boulevard owned by the City of Las Cruces and 4.62 acres of land located along the southwest side of Roadrunner Parkway owned by Wilfred E. Binns and Iva Bernice Irrevocable Children’s Trust 10-15-93 #1001, in Accordance with Provisions of LCMC 1997, Section 2-1312.
Also, the Council will hear and consider two appeals. The appeals shall follow the procedure outlined in LCMC 1997, Chapter 38, Article II, Section 38-13.
APPEAL – Resolution No.20-048: A resolution appealing the decision of approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission on July 23, 2019 for a proposed preliminary plat for a subdivision known as University Meadows for a property encompassing 36.145-plus acres, Zoned R-1C (Single-Family Low Density) and R-1A (Single-Family Medium Density), and located west of Stern Drive, north and east of the City of Las Cruces city limits, and generally south of Karen Drive and Ringneck Drive.
