[ARCHIVED] Dog Park to Observe Modified Hours During Country Music Festival

The Las Cruces Dog Park, 430 Hermosa St., just south of Meerscheidt Recreation Center, will observe modified hours during the Las Cruces Country Music Festival.

The Las Cruces Dog Park can only be accessed from dawn, or approximately 6 a.m., until 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 and Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019. On Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, access to the dog park will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until dusk, or approximately 8 p.m.

Hermosa Street, between Hadley Avenue and Griggs Avenue, will be closed to traffic throughout the Country Music Festival.

A temporary dog park has been set up on property managed by the Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department on east Amador Avenue across the street from Hermosa Heights Elementary School.

Regular access and parking at the Las Cruces Dog Park will resume on Monday, Oct. 14.
