The
City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will hold its annual
Pumpkin Splash Patch from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Las
Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave. Children ages 4 to 12
will have the opportunity to pick out a pumpkin from the “water pumpkin patch”
and decorate it for Halloween.
The
family event will be a part of the “Spooky Downtown” series and includes
Halloween-themed activities and music. Admission is $3 per child; parents get
in for free.
Children
must be accompanied by an adult during the event and parents of non-swimmers
must accompany their children in the water.
