Several city streets will be closed for as long as 3½ months, from Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, to Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, depending on weather conditions.
Luna Street, between Utah Avenue and California Avenue, and Bellamah Drive, at Dove Lane and the intersection of south Locust Street, will be closed for reconstruction of the Bellamah Drive Roadway Project. During reconstruction, road closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
A route will be provided to detour traffic through neighboring streets. Motorists are urged to please follow detour signs that will be posted.
The road closure will not affect any RoadRUNNER Transit routes.
A-Mountain Construction will be installing storm drain inlets, pavement, speed tables, curbs and gutters, driveways, sidewalks, street lighting, and water, sewer, and gas utilities. This work will be done in City Council District 3.
