From 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, enjoy a “Haunted Museum” adventure at the Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St. Entry to the museum and program participation are free, and registration is not required. Halloween costumes are welcome! The “Haunted Museum” is part of “Spooky Downtown” taking place all day on Oct. 26.
Make glow in the dark slime and assemble a skeleton with the Museum of Nature & Science; design a jack-o’-lantern out of clay at the Museum of Art’s “Artventurous” booth; decorate gourds to ward off evil spirits with the Branigan Cultural Center; and learn about nocturnal animals at “Animal Encounters.”
The Museum of Nature & Science is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The museum is accessible from RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1, Stop 36.
“Spooky Downtown” events will take place all day, Saturday, Oct. 26.
