Join Las Cruces Public Libraries in September to celebrate National Library Card Sign-up Month!
Some of you might have noticed a few changes at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave. We have a new name, new look, and new library cards!
The City of Las Cruces recently introduced a new logo, and our version was designed to better reflect our multiple locations and community. Las Cruces' beautiful sunset also inspired us.
We have changed our name to Las Cruces Public Libraries to reflect that we have more than one location and one type of service. However, each library branch will retain its original name – such as our central library, Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.
The most exciting part of the updates are the new library cards!
Please join us in celebrating our new look by signing up for a new library card or renewing your existing card – you can ask to swap your old card for our new sunset-inspired card. As part of our update, we have made it easier for everyone to acquire a library card and have increased the level of access to all resources every cardholder has as soon they get a library card!
We also will share our favorite library memories through September at all locations and on social media. To share favorite personal memories, stop by any branch and fill out a memory card or message us at @LClibraries on Facebook, Instagram, or threads!
