Las Cruces Public Libraries invites residents to join us for a new Reader’s Theater program, starting Sept. 15, 2023, for children ages 6 to 14.
Each week we will practice reading short plays aloud. Later, the plays will be performed for friends and family, using our scripts, voices, facial expressions, and imaginations!
Reader’s Theater is an excellent way to improve reading comprehension, fluency, and self-confidence. Good basic reading skills are required.
Actors will meet from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, starting Sept. 15, 2023, in the Roadrunner Room, on the second floor of Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.
