Las
Cruces police and Codes Enforcement are participating in a statewide Tip-A-Cop
fundraiser Saturday at the Bosque Brewing Company with proceeds benefiting New
Mexico Special Olympics athletes.
In
Las Cruces, the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday,
Oct. 19, at Bosque Brewing Company, 901 E. University Ave. Bosque Brewing,
which serves food and beverages, is hosting four similar fundraisers Saturday
in other New Mexico locations.
Local
police and codes enforcement officers, along with local Special Olympics
athletes, will be on hand to raise funds and aware for Special Olympics New
Mexico. Donations will be accepted, and Special Olympics T-shirts will be
available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics New Mexico.
Tip-A-Cop
is one of many events – including the Law Enforcement Torch Run – that local
law enforcement agencies participate in to benefit Special Olympics New Mexico.
