[ARCHIVED] “Scary Stories to Tell in the Light” at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library

Old Scary brown home

Do scary stories have the same bone-chilling effect on us in the middle of the day as they do around a dark campfire late at night? Let’s find out!

From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, on the lawn in front of Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave.,enjoy your lunch as library staff members take turns reading - or telling - spooky stories. Participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on, and a favorite ghost story to share. This is definitely not your regular lunch hour.

For information about this program, call the Outreach Librarian at 575/528-4012.

Save gas and avoid traffic! RoadRUNNER Transit can get you to the library. Branigan Library is located on Route 1, Stop 2.

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

This announcement can also be made available in alternative formats by calling 575/528-4012, sending an email to library.outreach@las-cruces.org, or by making the request in person during the library's open hours.

Anyone who requires an accommodation for a disability to participate in this event, should contact the library at least 48 hours in advance by calling 575/528-4012, sending an email to library.outreach@las-cruces.org, or making a request in person during open hours.
