[ARCHIVED] Time to Team Up to Clean Up in District 2!

Man dumping trash in the roll-off container

Get rid of weeds, trash/junk, graffiti, and other debris in your neighborhood the Team Up to Clean Up way! The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation department’s Keep Las Cruces Beautiful (KLCB) will conduct its next Team Up to Clean Up event from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 2 in District 2, represented by Councilor Greg Smith.

Las Cruces Utilities Solid Waste will provide a roll-off container at Frenger Park, 800 Parkview Dr, north parking lot, for District 2 residents to utilize for the event. KLCB staff will have a supply station at this location and can provide information for specific clean up locations if needed.

Recruit your neighbors and friends to join efforts to maintain property beginning where you live. Take advantage of having the large roll-off to dump large loads of yard waste, over-sized junk, or broken furniture without going to the landfill. Anyone living in District 2 can contribute to the beautification of the City of Las Cruces by joining KLCB to help clean up their neighborhood!

Tons of debris were collected in District 1, District 3, District 4, and District 5 Team Up to Clean Up events in recent months. The next Team Up to Clean Up event will be on Saturday, Nov. 16 in District 6.
