[ARCHIVED] 2019 Summer Program Lottery Registration

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department is accepting lottery registration applications for both sessions of the Summer Recreation Program beginning Monday, April 29, thru Saturday, May 11, at the following locations during regular business hours:


  • Parks and Recreation Administrative Office - 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center - 304 W. Bell Ave.
  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center - 1401 E. Hadley Ave.
  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center - 1600 E. Hadley Ave.


Registration for the Summer Recreation Program is determined by lottery selection only. Participants who are selected for a site will be notified on Wednesday, May 15, by email or text message. Postings of the winning lottery numbers will be available at the sites listed above and on our website, www.las-cruces.org/summer-recreation.


Payment must be received between Wednesday, May 15 thru Saturday, May 25, at locations listed above during regular business hours or online at www.las-cruces.org/play and click on the online registration link.


Any slots that have not been paid for will be open to the public on Sunday, May 26, on a first come, first served basis at locations listed above during regular business hours or online at www.las-cruces.org/play


*DATES: Session I June 3 – June 28

Session II July 1 – August 2 (No program July 4)

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


*COST: $200/session/child

(does not include fees associated with field trips)


*GRADES: Kindergarten – 5 (2018/19 school year)

 (Proof of grade may be required) 

*LOCATIONS: Camino Real Middle School – 2961 Roadrunner Pkwy.

Picacho Middle School – 1040 N. Motel Blvd.

Sierra Middle School – 1700 Spruce Ave.


No telephone registrations accepted. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Administrative office at 575/541-2550.
