[ARCHIVED] Working to Ease Patient Pain on Valley Drive

WORKING TO EASE PATIENT PAIN - FINAL - ON VALLEY DRIVE OCT2019

By Cassie McClure and Suzanne Michaels

Published in Las Cruces Bulletin 10/11/19

It’s relief from pain that patients seek at Rodriguez Family Chiropractic (595 S. Valley Drive), even now with snagged traffic on Valley Drive due to road reconstruction. Dr. Laura Rodriguez is most appreciative of her loyal patients who have waited through traffic lights to reach her, and notes that ultimately, the upgraded street will enhance all the Valley Drive businesses, including the building she owns, where she treats her clients.

“I’ve always supported improvements to our community’s infrastructure, even when I’m affected in the short term,” said Rodriguez. “Valley Drive improvements include drainage and a sidewalk system, which will boost productivity and support business growth all along our busy street – now and in the future.”

The final phase of the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) road reconstruction project is scheduled for completion in early 2020, which will ease the current traffic delays and the inconvenience for drivers, residents, and business owners who have had to be patient during the process.

Dr. Rodriguez is fully bilingual and offers multiple gentle techniques to ease the pain for all ages – from children through geriatrics. She specializes in personal injury and in helping those with neck and back pain; she offers advanced chiropractic treatments and therapy for a broad range of conditions - from headaches, leg and arm pain, including

some cases of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, all the way to scoliosis, sciatica, pinched nerves, extremity pain and dysfunction, and subluxation.

Dr. Rodriguez treats muscular, nervous and skeletal system conditions and associated pain at the core - developing a non-invasive treatment that works with the natural function of the body.

“We don’t want harsh medication or invasive surgical procedures,” she explained. “We want to work with the body to eliminate the pain. A healthy approach to treating pain is proving just as important - with equally impressive results.”

Dr. Rodriguez helps her patients isolate the source of their pain, and accepts most major health plans Including most HMOS, PPOS, Medicare and self-pay patients as well. Contact her at 575-527-5083 or by email at lauroddc@yahoo.com.
