[ARCHIVED] Register now for Thanksgiving Break Camp

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department is offering “Thanksgiving Break Camp” from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Wednesday, Nov. 27 for children grades kindergarten through five (K – 5). The camp will be held at the A. Fielder Memorial Safe Haven, 906 N. Tornillo Street. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. “Thanksgiving Break Camp” is part of the Out-of-School Time program that provides a positive use of leisure time, promotes fundamentals of play, appreciation for the environment, and interpersonal skills.

There is no cost for “Thanksgiving Break Camp. Space is limited, first-come-first-served.

Registration can be completed at http://www.las-cruces.org/play and select the link that says Online Registration to log in to our online portal or during regular business hours at the following locations:

  • Parks & Recreation Department Administrative Office, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.

Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave.

Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
