[ARCHIVED] “Super Scientists” Drop-in Activities at the Museum of Nature & Science

Kids doing Science in Water

The Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St., presents “Super Scientists,” drop-in activities from 10 a.m. to noon on listed Saturdays. Entry to the museum and the program is free, and no registration is required. The drop-in activities are appropriate for all ages.

The topic on Nov. 23, 2019 is Sailboats. Participants can design and race a simple model sailboat and test different materials for buoyancy and speed.

The Museum of Nature & Science is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The museum is accessible on RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1, Stop 36. For information, visit the City’s Museum System website, at:, or call 575/522-3120.
