City Hall and most City of Las Cruces offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019 and Friday, Nov. 29, 2019 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Emergency services such as fire and police will not be affected.
The following is a list of closures/modifications:
Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019
- All recreation facilities will be closed.
- Community centers will be closed.
- Senior Programs will be closed.
- Branigan/Sage/Munson libraries will be closed The libraries will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27.
- All museums will be closed.
- Solid waste offices will be closed. The Foothills landfill will be closed.
- Residential and commercial trash collection and recycling services will be suspended.
- No RoadRUNNER Transit services or buses, offices will be closed.
- Visit Las Cruces will be closed.
Day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 29, 2019
- All recreation facilities will be closed.
- Community centers will be closed.
- All Senior Programs will be closed.
- Branigan/Sage/Munson libraries will be closed.
- Solid waste offices will be closed. Residential and Commercial trash collection will be collected as usual; Thursday residential routes will be picked up Friday.
- Foothills Landfill will be open for normal hours of operation (clean fill/yard waste).
- All museums will be closed.
- RoadRUNNER Transit will operate its Saturday service level, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m..
- Dial-a-Ride schedulers will be available by phone (regular hours), offices will be closed.
- Visit Las Cruces will be closed.
Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019
- Meerscheidt Recreation Center will be open normal hours, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Regional Aquatic Center will be open normal hours, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
