The
City of Las Cruces invites residents to participate at the East Mesa Public
Recreational Complex (EMPRC) General Obligation (GO) Bond Project public
meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 at Doña Ana Community College
Auditorium, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Boulevard.
Wilson
& Company, Inc, the architecture firm contracted to this GO Bond project,
will discuss the construction of a new sports complex including sports fields
and courts with a concessions area, trails, playgrounds, parking area, and
landscaping. The EMPRC is slated to be built
northeast of the intersection of Sonoma Ranch
Boulevard and Camino Coyote.
The
GO Bond project was approved by voters in a special mail-ballot election
conducted in July and August 2018.
