[ARCHIVED] Thomas Branigan Memorial Library Presents a Mini Film Noir Festival

Come to Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave., and join us in celebrating the release of Santa Fe Noir with a few of our favorite books-to-movie Film Noir selections!

From March 17, 2020 to March 20, 2020 Branigan Memorial Library will be showcasing one film noir movie each day with a double feature on Friday, March 20, 2020. Watch the movie then check out the book: Ride the Pink Horse, Devil in a Blue Dress, or perhaps one by Raymond Chandler or Dashiell Hammett!

The Mini Film Noir Festival will be at these times and dates:

  • 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17.
  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 18.
  • 1 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
  • 1 p.m. Friday, March 20.
  • 3 p.m. Friday, March 20.

For a full list of titles to be shown, visit the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library website, at www.las-cruces.org/1617/Thomas-Branigan-Memorial-Library. Movies will be shown in the Roadrunner Room of the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library. The event is free to the public.

Save gas and avoid traffic. RoadRUNNER Transit can get people to the library. Branigan Library is on Route 1, Stop 2.

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday.
