[ARCHIVED] Interstate 25 Lane Closure will be in Effect on February 23

Lane Closure with barrels

On Feb. 23, 2020 the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will have crews and equipment on the northbound, right driving lane of Interstate 25 just before the I-25/University Avenue interchange to make guardrail and fence repairs. To minimize impacts to traffic the work will be completed from 7 a.m. to noon Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020.

The off ramp will remain open to University Avenue. The northbound I-25 passing, left lane will continue to have a lane closure for the ongoing construction project. Motorists are urged to use caution as the roadway will be congested in that area.

Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and be cautious of personnel and equipment in the area. Traffic advisories and updates on this project will be posted on the NMDOT road conditions website, at http://nmroads.com/, or motorists can call 511.
