[ARCHIVED] Unidad Park Survey

A sign which reads Unidad Park at the location of Unidad Park on Hadley Avenue in Las Cruces.

Residents have a great opportunity to provide their input on a landmark park in the city. Unidad Park, built in 2001, is the first community-built park in Las Cruces and will undergo a major rehabilitation as part of the General Obligation (GO) Bond that voters passed in 2018. Residents are encouraged to take a survey that asks for your memories, favorite parts of the park, and any ideas to contribute to the project. The survey – available at www.las-cruces.org/UnidadParkSurvey - is provided by the City of Las Cruces Public Works Department and Parks and Recreation Department.

Community input will determine the design of the park’s make-over that includes building a splash pad and other changes as part of the GO Bond project.

The status of this and other GO Bond projects can be found in the Public Works Go Bond website atwww.las-cruces.org/GoBondProjects.  For more information, call the Community Engagement Office at (575) 528-4551 or email clcengage@las-cruces.org.
