[ARCHIVED] Conceptual Design Options to be Available for East Mesa Public Recreation Complex

Group of people at EMPRC Public Meeting

Residents will have an opportunity to view the next phase of conceptual design options for the East Mesa Public Recreation Complex (EMPRC) at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at City Hall, 700 N. Main St., in Conference Room 2007-B and C.

The new sports complex, a General Obligation (GO) Bond project approved by voters in 2018, will include a traditional park (10 acres), parking lot, baseball complex, pickleball courts, soccer fields, and multi-use fields. Residents are encouraged to provide additional feedback, ideas, and concerns based on designs created from data collected at previous public meetings.

The EMPRC is to be built northeast of the intersection of Sonoma Ranch Boulevard and Camino Coyote, east of the East Mesa Public Safety Complex, at 550 N. Sonoma Ranch Boulevard.

The status of this and other GO Bond projects can be found at the Public Works Go Bond website at For information, call Public Works at 575/528-3333, or email
