The City of Las Cruces Economic Development Department will conduct a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 to discuss and gather public input about shade options at Plaza de Las Cruces.
The meeting will be in Conference Room 2007-B and C at City Hall, 700 N. Main St.
Downtown business owners, event coordinators who plan and organize events downtown or at the plaza, and other stakeholders, organizations and residents who participate in downtown events, or are concerned with the development of downtown, are especially encouraged to attend this meeting. At the meeting, architects and City staff will explain, in detail, some of the options that could be considered to enhance or improve shade at Plaza de Las Cruces, and public comments are sought about how much shade is needed or wanted at the plaza.
