The City of Las Cruces has upgraded its video streaming service of City Council meetings and work sessions, meetings of the Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley and Las Cruces Planning and Zoning Commission, news conferences and other live videos on CLCTV.com. New features include high definition (HD) video and integration with the YouTube platform.
“The shift is the result of a new City Council agenda management solution and video streaming platform the City is now utilizing that integrates its live stream videos with YouTube,” said Communications Director Udell Vigil. “You can now watch the live streams in high definition video, use the interactive agenda, access past meetings, and view agendas of upcoming City Council meetings.”
Besides viewing directly on CLCTV.com, there is the option to view, chat and subscribe to City produced videos directly on the City’s YouTube channel, YouTube.com/CLCTV20.
Another new service provided by the City is closed captioning of all new live meetings and pre-produced programing televised on Comcast Cable channel 20.
The City continuously strives to be as accessible as possible. We want every segment of our population to have fair and equal access to our video programming.
