[ARCHIVED] Rio Grande Theatre Events Canceled or Postponed Through April

Rio Grande Theatre building

Following guidance from Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the New Mexico Department of Health, the City of Las Cruces has canceled or postponed events at the Rio Grande Theatre, 211 N. Main St., through the month of April.

The governor on Wednesday issued a public health emergency to maximize the resources available to New Mexico  to fight the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus and minimize public health risks for New Mexicans. As part of this announcement, the governor and Department of Health directed state government and advised local governments across New Mexico to cancel events with large crowds through at least the end of April.

For information about events at the Rio Grande Theatre, contact Chris Faivre at 575/541-2150, or by email at cfaivre@las-cruces.org.
