Due to current circumstances and suggested restrictions on public gatherings, the scheduled Police Cadet Physical Assessments are being postponed until further notice.
The postponement includes the physical assessment scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at Las Cruces High School.
The Las Cruces Police Department apologizes for the short notice but asks those who applied for the position of Police Cadet to monitor their email as communication will be sent once the sessions are rescheduled.
The Las Cruces Police Department continues to accept applications for its 50th training academy that’s set to begin in late October. Applications must be received no later than April 21, 2020. The academy is tentatively set to begin October 26.
