In recent days, residents in the Paseo de Onate area may have noticed digging and removal of material. This project is related to the long-planned removal of layers of old trash from the City of Las Cruces pre-1965 landfill on the city’s eastside near the Las Alamedas/South Ridge Village subdivision. The old trash is being relocated to Corralitos Regional Landfill, west of town, along I-10. Read more about this story at http://www.las-cruces.org/180/Utilities.
