City of Anthony 

Nothing new on Administrative side – everyone is working from home. Local school reached out to PD to have a parade. Was advised it was not essential and would encourage crowds.   

  1. City of Sunland Park 

Today, parks are officially closed. Signs were delayed. PD is fielding questions from businesses and have been educating more on public health order. What is essential business? Main question. Again, compliance... 

  1. City of Las Cruce 

      Nothing new Wednesday, operationally. Media coordinator did finish production of a community PSA that will be sent to all JIC members and local media. Here is a link for reference:

The City is still on schedule to host a special meeting Friday at 9:30 to use a budget adjustment from the Telshor Fund that is used for various programs. Anyone can join the meeting by clicking www.youtube.com/clctv20  

  1. Las Cruces Police Department  

      Business as usual Wednesday, nothing new to report 

  1. Las Cruces Public Schools 

      Enrichment channel goes live today on YouTube. Children will be able to access enrichment materials according to grade. Students will also be able to watch their teachers on the channel  a schedule is available on www.lcps.net  

  1. Doña Ana County 

  • Nothing new on Wednesday 

 

  1. Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office 

At District Court and Magistrate Court, all meetings/appearances are now done via video. Officers need to call in if they are scheduled to appear. Ann Marie at DA’s office has prelim information. No inmates are being transported to the court for mandated appearances.  

Patrols are answering more calls related to domestic disturbances.  

  1. Village of Hatch 

No report Tuesday.  

  1. Town of Mesilla 

Nothing new Wednesday   

  1. Memorial Medical Center (MMC) 

  Nothing to update Wednesday 

  1. Mountain View Regional Medical Center 

Blood drive has been going well. Today is the last day. 

Guidance was issued this week for providers to stay in the area.  

The hospital is working with Vitalant to host a blood drive at the senior center Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. In compliance with social distancing, the drive will be done by appointment only. Flyer is attached to the notes for anyone wanting to share this information. Kelly will send out to the media. 877-25VITAL

Working through a virtual commencement and what that would look like, or if it’s feasible.     

  1. New Mexico State University Police  

Nothing new today to report.    

  1. Office of Emergency Management (OEM) 

All logistics requests are being sent to the state EOC. National Guard will be coordinating some of those details. Some MMC staff is working out of OEM to address preparedness surge expected in the next couple of weeks. Capabilities are being addressed, how to send requests to the state EOC.   

  1. Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility 

No changes, still enforcing medical screening.   

  1. State of NM Aging & Long-Term Services - Ombudsman Program 

      Nothing new Wednesday. 

  1. Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Authority (MVRDA) 

City of LC mobile command vehicle is at MVRDA in the event they need to use it. DASO Communications vehicle is also at Central Dispatch 

  1. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, El Paso Sector 

 All operations are ongoing, nothing JIC related to report 

  1. New Mexico Department of Health 

      Unable to join call Wednesday
