Citywide spring/summer water restrictions began April 1st. The annual restrictions prohibit the watering of outside vegetation between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
A watering schedule allows residents with even-numbered addresses to water outside vegetation on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Residents with odd-numbered addresses are permitted to water their vegetation on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. No watering is permitted on Mondays.
The Las Cruces Utilities Water Conservation Program has a recorded voicemail Hotline (575) 528-4444 and is available 24-hour to report water waste that includes:
Watering on the wrong day or time,
Water leaving the property or ponding on the property, and
Not using a bucket and shut-off nozzle to wash vehicles or pavement.
When calling please provide day, time, location, or address. The TTY number, for people who are hearing impaired, is 575/528-3541.
Las Cruces Utilities encourages residents to use water wisely in order to conserve for future demand.
