OBJECTIVE: To streamline communication between local government agencies during the COVID-19 response. Partner organizations include city and county representatives, local hospitals, the Department of Health, jail and prison facilities, first responders, the Las Cruces Public School district, City of Anthony, Sunland Park and Hatch.  

JIC members collaborate on a daily conference call at 10 a.m., Monday through Friday. The notes compiled during that call are made available at and 

City of Anthony

Chief Lara, Anthony PD – nothing new to update, aside from a submission to Axon for PPE. Will be shipping soon. Inquiry on mobile testing, and when that might happen? Example: will DOH be available to go to someone’s residence for testing if they are indigent or without transportation.

City of Sunland Park

City clerk: 157 boxes of food have been distributed through partnerships with area resources. City council meeting is scheduled tonight via Zoom.
